U. S. Senator Elmer W. Fudd was admitted to Cedars of Heaven Hospital Thursday night, suffering from an apparent heart attack.
A medical spokesman said Friday that continuing tests indicate the ill effects on the senator' s heart were slight. He is expected to recover without complications.
Fudd was rushed to the hospital when, without warning, he was stricken by severe chest pains. This morning, the spokesman said, he was “resting comfortably. ”
