He finds a screwdriver, opens the cover of the robot and does something to it. Now, you can see the situation has totally changed. The old man wins the game, whereas the robot loses it. Who is wiser? In my opinion, the robot is really much wiser than us humans in calculating, designing. But don't forget the fact that it's man who devises them. No matter how clever they may become, they will never exceed man.
