Longing for love and being loved is an instinct of people, though not all of us know how to give love and to be loved. Some people hold that there should be a balance of love and being loved, which I partly agree on. But if he/she can find a balance between love and being loved, he/she will feel fair, thus happy. However, I do not agree on it to some degree. First of all, love cannot be weighed to see if my love equals to others', since you are not the one you love and you do not know how deep others' love is. Then, true love cannot be measured in this way. Last but not least, not all love is given out of selfishness. Most people who love you do not want a return love, such as the love of parents to their children, teachers to students, and so on. They give you their love unselfishly but maybe you can never pay it off. So, in my opinion, just love somebody. Do not weigh other people's love in your mind. Because we know the person who truly loves us will love us more and longer.
