Should Science and arts Education be Separated?
In China, subjects are classified into science and arts and students have to choose one direction. Some people argue that such practice is beneficial, for it not only provides more focused education but also removes students' workload. In my opinion, I insist that science and arts education shouldn't be divided.
Above all, science and arts are indispensable parts of the quality education. Students must learn both of them in order to gain an all-round development. In addition, though the number of subjects is reduced, students' study burden will not be removed. They have to do the same amount of job as before. Finally, some students may be interested in several subjects of different directions. Being forced to make a choice between science and arts, most students will lose interests in their studies.
As above, science and arts education are intertwined in students' development. They shouldn't be separated from each other.
