The Meaning of Life
The meaning of life is not only an eternal theme of literary works, but also a difficult question that perplexes common people. Different people hold various opinions on this topic. Some think that they live for money and fame, while some for fun. The first belief of mine is that money and fame are not adequate for leading a meaningful life. It can been seen and heard everywhere that many people are obsessed with money and fame and they have no interest or time to enjoy family life, friendship, and love. Money is indeed of great importance in life, but the money-only idea leads to a monotonous life. Sometimes, extreme money seekers or fame followers violate the law and hurt others for that end. Secondly, living just for fun is also unacceptable to me. Humans are different from animals in that they have feelings and emotions. In variably avoiding sadness and anger only makes people dull and less sensible.
As for my opinion, the true meaning of life is experience. Life can’ t be measured by time, and it depends on what one has gone through, that is, experiences. Experiences make us fulfilled because we all are white tablets when we come to this world. It is experience that fulfills our life and makes it meaningful, be it failures or successes, happiness or grieves. Learning from all experiences and gaining self-content in all happenings, and enjoying life from different angles, you will find your life fulfilling and meaningful. Moreover, experiences can help us to grow up. Experiences are the best teacher, so we can test what we learn from textbooks or others and find what is the most suitable for ourselves. When we make mistakes, we can correct it immediately and in this way can we grow up and become mature. More importantly, we cannot avoid making friends when we experience. As time goes by, we will get more and more friends.
In a word, fame and money is not the core of a meaningful life. Experience is the core existence of a meaningful life.
