   More and more people are buying private cars now. There are even more who are wishing to buy one some day. Private cars have become a symbol of status and success.
   There are many advantages of owning a private car. Firstly, it can get you to your destination in a short time, saving much time and energy. Secondly, you can drive a car whenever you want to and go wherever you wish to go. It is very convenient, compared to the buses fixed in a certain line. Finally, it is safe to drive a car at night than to walk in a dark street to catch a bus or to go home after getting off a bus or a train.
   On the other hand, there are some disadvantages. Cars are still very expensive to buy, even more expensive to maintain. They use up too much petrol. They also make our crowded roads even more crowded. What is most important, private cars cause serious worry and stress to the owner. There might be more chances of some traffic accidents, of the cars being stolen, and of being fined for a wrong turning or parking or an excessive speed.
   In general, although there are some advantages of owning a car, there are still some disadvantages associated with it. It is certainly not a carefree business.
