Let's Clean Up Our City
The Environmental Council is organizing a cleanup campaign in all neighborhoods of the city on Saturday, October 14. Families, clubs, organizations, and individuals are invited to participate.
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
1. Most rubbish collected (bags will be weighed)
2. Most unusual thing picked up (judges will decide)
3. Most people participating in a group
4. Largest area covered
Participants must meet at the parking lot on the corner of Pickett and St. John Streets at 8:30am Saturday, October 14, to fill in a form. Everyone will get a red vest, a name tag, and some bags for rubbish collection. There is no limit to the ages of the participants. Weighing and judging will take place at the same location at 3:00 pro.

All clean-up participants are invited to a cook-out and awards presentation ceremony at Pickett and St. John at 6:00 pro.
