Custom

Custom is a kind of cultural tradition and code of conduct that formed by people in long term social life. It is the product of community value and social psychology. Certain community value and psychology will cause people to behave in consistency. This coherent behavior evolved into a culture of behavior with a fairly stable structure through long-term historical development and sedimentation, which is the so-called custom. Customs, once created will become a kind of social norm, controlling and dominating the behavior of people greatly. But customs, as a cultural tradition and behavioral norms, are not immutable. After a long historical development process, some customs will also vary in different degrees. Sometimes the traditional custom is replaced by another new form. Sometimes, the traditional customary form, although retained, but its psychological basis and intrinsic nature has been completely different from the previous ones.
