Books Printed or Electronic

Living in this digital era, it is getting more and more popular to enjoy electronic services. It is also a common phenomenon to read electronic books in our smart phones which bring us more convenience as well as efficiency. However, there are both critics and proponents. In my opinion, both are acceptable means to receive information and knowledge.

First，it's easier for to take notes in printed books which serve as the most remarkable difference compared to electronic books. By taking notes in printed books, we can have a greater memory of the points important and the parts that are hard to understand. But it's difficult to carry them with us wherever we go. Second, the electronic books can otherwise accompany us no matter when and where. It's so convenient to search for the information we need with rapidity and effectiveness. We can look it up whenever we need. The most remarkable feature of electronic books is convenience. We take and use our electronic devices every day which gives as the preference for electronic books. Third, if we are out of the concern of the health, we'd better turn to the printed books which will do less harm to our eyesight compared to the electronic books.

In conclusion, printed books are more traditional, while the electronic books are more modernized. The different perspectives of viewing will result in our different preference.
