British Romanticism
Romanticism (also known as the Romantic Age) is an art, literature, music and intellectual movement that originated at the end of the eighteenth century in Europe. In most parts of its heyday, it lasted from about 1800 to 1850. It emphasizes the past and nature that individualism celebrates with emotion and Romanticism, preferring medieval rather than classical music. This reflects to some extent the industrial revolution, the aristocratic society and political norms of the enlightenment era, the scientific rationality of the components of modernity. This is the most powerful visual art, music and literature, but it has great influence on history, education, social sciences, natural sciences. (not quoting a given one) has an important and complex political influence, while Romantic thinkers influence liberalism, radicalism, conservatism and nationalism.
