(1) As we all know, it is an age of globalization, which means that if we want to embrace the world, we have to communicate with other countries and other cultures on the one hand and have to introduce ourselves to others on the other hand. Besides, it is important for Chinese to have a better understanding of other cultures and Chinese traditional culture if we are going to reach out to the world. However, there are some challenges and problems we are face with.

(2) First, in the last several decades, especially these past twenty years, China has seen more and more Chinese learning English. When much more attention is paid to learning foreign languages, more and more young Chinese have little understanding and knowledge of Chinese traditional culture, which makes it difficult introducing Chinese culture to other cultures and countries. Second, most people know little about cross-cultural approaches, which may cause misunderstanding in cross-cultural communication. This is also an obstacle in introducing Chinese culture to the world.Third, there is no effective and useful access or method to introduce Chinese culture to other cultures and countries.

(3) Following are some coping strategies. First, Experts in Chinese traditional culture should be invited to train and help educate people and use internet to promote the understandings of Chinese culture. Second, Experts in cross-cultural transmission should be invited to train relevant workers. Third, Policies such as investment should be made and executed in transmitting Chinese traditional culture globally. Last, the most important is that we should make efforts to combine Chinese traditional culture with modern technology and help promote the development of Chinese culture.
