My Views on Technology in Learning 

With the rapid advancement of science and technology, our daily life has been undergoing tremendous changes, the way of learning included. Different people respond differently to this change. 

Some hold that the advanced technology enables the students to gather more information and to learn faster. There is no doubt that with the widespread of Internet and smart phone, students now can search whatever information he wants immediately, which enormously broaden their horizons and minds. The same is true that with the help of updated technology, students learn more efficiently and effectively than they used to. The multimedia teaching can be the best example.

Yet others are strongly against this view. In their perspective, the dependence on technology makes students lazier and less active, which does a great harm to their study. This idea is illustrated by the fact that the more frequently the students use the calculators, the poorer the mathematics performance would be. 

Personally, I believe that the highly developed technology provides the students and teachers with many effective and pragmatic tools, instruments, and ways which would be of great help if used wisely. So the real issue lies not in the technology, but how we use the technology.
