If you choose topic A:
Concerning this issue, there are three points I would like to say.
First, working experience is of great importance in selecting applicants. Those with experience in the same or relevant fields will handle their new jobs easier and quicker than those without. Plus, a lot of training fees can also be saved if the applicants have related professional experience.
Second, applicants’ personal qualities should also be taken into account, like their personality, dexterity, social skills, and so on. Company nowadays are more likely to employ people whose character fits a special position best. For instance, consulting companies prefer to employ an analytical and knowledgeable candidate with a long period of practices. On the other hand, advertising agents tend to take on applicant who is imaginative, sociable and fashionable.
Third, I think language competence is very significant when selecting applicants for two reasons. You know, on one hand, the skills of presentation and communication mean better performance in teamwork and cooperation. On the other hand, with the development of globalization, we have more opportunities to do business with people around the world, so applicants who can speak one or more foreign languages will prove to be an asset to the company.
If you choose topic B:
Many aspects are involved in developing a promotion program for a product. Each of them requires planning. Firstly, we must identify the target audience of the program, because different ways of promotion simply applies to different types of audiences. As for the product itself, we should consider characteristics as well as the brand image. Secondly, a specific communication objective must e established, which helps to find effective ways to arouse customers awareness of the new product. Also, we should take the question of budget into fully consideration as well. We should confirm that the expenditure of the program is within our advertising budget.
