Dear Angelo,
I"m obliged to you for inviting me to attend your birthday party to be held on Jan. 20. I would like to accept your warm invitation but I"m afraid I cannot due to an earlier appointment.
One month ago, l made an appointment with one of my high-school classmates. She will accompany her father who suffers from diabetes to Beijing to see a doctor. Since she is not quite familiar with Beijing, she asked me for help and I have consented.
