As far as I am concerned, the comparative degree is a comparative form of an adjective, this phenomenon is often used when we want to make comparison of two things. And the form of it is usually the adjective+er, if the word is a multisyllable word , we always plus the word ‘more’ or ‘less’ in front of the adjectives. This knowledge is very important for junior high school students and the comprehending of this knowledge connects some knowledge between primary school and junior high school. So we should pay enough attention to the knowledge.
