Everybody has an opinion about telecommuting (远程办公). "It won't work in most jobs", "It costs too much", "It reduces air pollution", "It helps people balance family and work responsibilities", and "Most people are doing it". In reality, researchers continue to find strong growth and acceptance of telecommuting. Nearly two-thirds of the top 1,000 companies in the world have a telecommuting program, and 92 percent say it reduces cost and improves worker productivity (生产力). The days of everyone commuting to the office five days a week are quickly disappearing. Telecommuting involves a non-traditional work arrangement enabling workers to work at home or elsewhere, some or all of the time. This is not a new, novel, or untested way of working. But is it for you? Telecommuting is not a panacea (万能药). Whether you are a manager, or a HR (Human Resources) specialist, there are decisions to make and actions to take before you begin a telecommuting arrangement. Join us for any or all of the following meetings to get answers, information, and resources to develop and carry out a successful telecommuting arrangement. Each meeting offers you an informative presentation followed by the opportunity for a discussion with a panel of "experts" who have made telecommuting work for them.

Pressure Cooker (压力锅) Safety When you are cooking with a pressure cooker, you should learn a few common sense(常识)rules: 1 . Never leave the cooker unwatched when it is in use. 2. Add sufficient liquid but never past the recommended fill point. Overfilling the colder may block the vent pipe (排气孔) and cause the cooker to explode. 3. Set the cooking time. Too much time may overcook the food or too much pressure may build up in the cooker. Too little time will lead to undercooked food. 4. If you are new to pressure cooking, follow the cooking instructions carefully. Heat and time can either result in a great meal or a ruined one. 5. Never try to force a pressure cooker cover open, Allow the cooker to cool or run it under cool water before trying to open the cover. 6. Clean the cooker thoroughly after each use . Mild detergent(洗涤剂)and hot water work the best. Do not use stove ash or sand for they may damage the cooker. The gasket(密封圈)is best cleaned in warm soapy water and then dried. Store the gasket in the bottom of the pot.

Underground tickets are available at all underground stations. Ticket prices for the underground vary according to the distance you travel. The network is divided into five zones: a central zone and four outer zones. Generally, the more zones you travel through, the higher your fare will be. You must buy your ticket before you start your journey, from a ticket office or machine. Keep your ticket for inspection and collection at your destination. The easiest and most economical way to travel around London is with a travel card. This gives you the freedom of London's trains, tubes, and buses in whichever zones you choose. It's perfect for visitors because one ticket combines travel on the trains of Network Southeast with the underground, Dockland Light railway and most of London buses. It's more convenient than buying separate tickets for each journey. Travel cards are available from any train or tube station.Travel card season tickets include seven-day, monthly and annual tickets. This is the modern, convenient and flexible ticket for your journey. For travel card season tickets, please bring a passport-size photograph with you.
