单选题Attend the Next Forum For the last sixteen years CPSB has had the pleasure of hosting a learning event we call a Forum. We started offering programs in Sarasota in February in 1991 and our first forum was held in 1992 as a small group meeting. Being from the Northern USA, this was a particularly good time to go south for the warmth of our friendships with Dr. Treffinger and Dr. Noller and to keep away from the cold winter. The Forum is the only chance to learn about various topics of creativity and innovation (革新) from those who have rich experience and interest in the field. The theme of the 2009 forum includes searching for a few new methods, sharing lessons from experience, and learning and exchanging ideas on cutting-edge research. Space is limited, so early registration (登记,注册) is welcome. Meeting the Innovation Challenge February 6 and 7, 2009 The Lido Holiday Inn Sarasota, Florida $ 750 (registration includes some meals and materials) Interested in becoming qualified to use the VIEW assessment (评估) of Problem Solving Style? 单选题David Moore taught physics at the City School. He needed some expensive books, and so he bought them. He left them in his car in a quiet street. Then he bought other things at other shops. At six o'clock he came back to the car. One window was open—and the books were not there! David drove home to Fry Road. That night he wrote a letter to a newspaper. The next day he went to the police. On Friday people read this in the newspaper: BOOK: Have you any old books? I buy old and modern books. Open all day on Saturdays. David Moore, 26 Fry Road. David stayed at home on Saturday. His first visitor came at eight o'clock. David took him to the kitchen. At half past nine another man arrived. He had a bag under his arm. "Mr. Moore?" the man asked. "That's right. "David said. "Can I help you?" "I've got some good book. You buy books, don't you?" "Yes. Bring them in. I'll have a look at them. " Soon the books were on the dining-table. "Come in now," David called," and bring the list. " A policeman came into the dining-room. He read the names on the list in his hand. They were the same. "Come with me , sir , "the policeman said to the man.

单选题We are not about to enter the Information Age, but instead are rather well into it." Present predictions are that by 1990, about thirty million jobs in the United States, or about thirty percent of the job market, will be computer-related. In 1980, only twenty-one percent of all American high schools owned one or two computers for student use. In the fall of 1985, a new study showed that half of United States secondary schools have fifteen or more computers for student use. And now educational experts, administrators, and even the general public are demanding that all students become" computer literate". By the year 2000 knowledge of computers will be necessary in over eighty percent of all occupations. Soon those people not educated in computer use will be compared to those who are print illiterate today. What is "computer literacy"? The term itself seems to imply some degree of" knowing" about computers, but knowing what? The present opinion seems to be that this should include a general knowledge of what computers are, plus a little of their history and something of how they operate. Therefore, it is important that educators everywhere take a careful look not only at what is being done, but also at what should be done in the field of computer education. Today most adults are able to use a motor car without the slightest knowledge of how the internalcombustion engine (内燃机) works. We effectively use all types of electrical equipment without being able to tell their histories or to explain how they work. Business people for years have made good use of typewriters and adding machines, yet few have ever known how to repair them. Why, then, attempt to teach computers by teaching how or why they work? Rather, we first must fix our mind on teaching the effective use of the computer as the tool is. "Knowing how to use a computer is what's going to be important. We don't talk about 'auto- mobile literacy'. We just get in our cars and drive them./
