单选题Letters to the EditorThe article written by Vicky Mendel that appeared in last month's issue of Metro Chic was fascinating. It featured various types of safe and fast weight-loss treatments. I work long hours and have no time to go to the gym, so learning about convenient ways to reduce weight really interests me.Convinced by the article, I tried the radio frequency treatment. It is a non-surgical technology that breaks down fat cells by using a machine that emits radio waves deep into the layers of a person's skin. At the same time, it reduces the appearance of cellulite and makes the skin look smoother. According to Ms. Mendel, she had the procedure done on her abdominal area and lost four inches around her waist after just one session.Last week, I had my appointment to receive radio frequency treatment at the same clinic Ms. Mendel visited. The procedure was painless and took less than 30 minutes, but after measuring the results, I was disappointed to learn I had only lost one inch. The physician at the clinic then told me that results can vary greatly and depend on the number of times a person goes in for treatment. Also, in order to maintain my desired figure, I would need to return for additional sessions on a regular basis. With each session costing $175, I find this treatment just isn't worth the money.
