单选题A Niche for the Classic and Beautiful By Hanna Crowell
PARIS, June 5 - After seeing the beautiful correction of home furnishings and decorative items at The Nostatgia Corner in Place d"Aligre, visitors agree that it is a necessary stop for anyone interested in antiques.
Established two years ago by Parisian antique collectors Jeremy Almary and Sandra Baude, the shop features European pieces dating back to the 17th century. What is fascinating about this shop is the effort it puts into displays. Items are arranged according to which part of the world they come from. Each vintage piece is at so tagged with information about its composition, style, and the period in which it was made, thus allowing customers to appreciate the item even more.
"We would tike people who visit our shop to be delighted by the beauty and artistic worth of our correction," Baude said. Because of this, The Nostalgia Corner has become not only a store, but at so a must-see attraction for travelers to Paris.
With the business doing weft, the proprietors plan to expand their correction by offering antique pieces from East Asian countries. "Within the next 10 years, we hope to provide our customers with a larger selection of antiques by including items from China and South Korea," Baude added.

单选题Incheon International airport is the latest symbol of South Korea' s economic ambitions. The 5.6 billion dollar project includes a passenger terminal, which is the largest building in the country. The airport is part of a long-term strategy to place the country at the hub of South East Asia's transportation and travel businesses. Economists are already forecasting that by 2025 Pacific Asia will have overtaken North America as the world's busiest region for air passenger transport. The spectacular architecture of the airport buildings is just one of the attractions that it has to offer; equally important is the fact that the whole project has been located on what used to be part of the Pacific Ocean. As a result the airport is far enough away from residential areas to be able to operate twenty-four hours a day, without the burden of noise complaints from sleepless neighbors. Incheon is also ideally situated, lying midway between the capitals of two of the world's major economies: China and Japan. Construction is scheduled to continue until at least 2020 with the addition of two new runways and a high-speed train connection to the capital Seoul, all of which will almost double the total cost. Incheon airport has certainly already made an impressive debut by winning two consecutive annual awards from the Airports Council International for the Best Airport Worldwide. The awards are based on more than 100,000 questionnaires completed by travelers at 66 international airports.

Subject: Meeting next week Dear Heinz,
I am coming to Germany next Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. I will be at our
office in Berlin. I am free on Thursday at 9:00 A.M. to go to Potsdam and meet
with you. Are you available then? I'd like to talk about
ordering computer systems from your company. Our offices in Utrecht and Tillburg
are expanding and need to upgrade their technology. I'd also like to meet with a
trainer from your company so that we can work out a training package. Also,
could you bring a training manual with you? Let me know if you
need me to bring anything. Also let me know if 9:00 isn't good for you. Maybe we
can work something out later in the day. Christina

Christina van Dijk Subject: Re: Meeting next week
Christina, I'm delighted that you're coming to
Germany. It will be very convenient for us to meet because I will actually be in
Potsdam from Tuesday through Friday, so we'll be able to meet at our office
there on the day you suggested. The time you suggested is a bit early for me as
I will be meeting with our CEO all morning. Are you available to meet at noon?
Perhaps we could meet during lunch. I will bring the materials
that you requested. The odor Eckert, our training supervisor, will join us. It
would be helpful if you could bring some of your company's brochures and a copy
of the annual report for us. Thank you.
Heinz
