摘要
王尔德的作品充满了唯美主义色彩,其童话集由鲁迅先生译入中国后,引起极大反响。国内对于王尔德童话的翻译研究集中在林徽因翻译的《夜莺与玫瑰》,而对另一部同时期译入的《自私的巨人》关注较少。文章选取巴金和李家真的《自私的巨人》译本,从审美信息的两个属性出发,结合童话的审美心理,从语音、词汇和句法三个层面探讨了译本中的审美再现。原语文本来源于2008年新西兰浮动出版社(the Floating Press)出版的The Happy Prince and Other Tales。通过比较发现,巴金的措辞更为简洁;李家真的译文更贴近原文,措辞更为文雅复杂,充分体现了原文的审美信息,更符合当代社会的需求。
As Wilde’s works featured with aestheticism,his fairy tales aroused great response after being translated by Lu Xun in China.The domestic researches on the translation of Wilde’s fairy tales mainly focus on Lin Huiyin’s translation of Nightingale and Rose,while less attention paid to the another translation of The Selfish Giant at the same period.The paper selects the translation of The Selfish Giant by Ba Jin and Li Jiazhen.The source text is derived from The Happy Prince and Other Tales,published by the Floating Press in 2008.By combining the two attributes of the aesthetic information and the aesthetic psychology of the fairy tale,the paper discusses translation aesthetics representation on the level of phonology,lexis and syntax.In conclusion,Ba Jin’s wording is more concise,while Li Jianzhen’s translation is closer to the original text.Also,Li’s wording is more elegant and complex,which fully reflects the aesthetic information of the original text.Therefore,Li’s translation is more in line with the needs of contemporary society.
