On the Principles and Methods of Second Language Phonetic Teaching

摘要 有声语言是人类语言的基本存在形式,无论是研究一种语言还是学习一种语言,首先就要研究和学习这种语言的语音。语言习得包括母语习得和二语习得,二者的共同点是两种习得都是依靠两种本能:模仿学习,概率匹配,并且受到语言关键期的制约;不同点主要在于有无语言迁移的影响。语言教学和语言习得关系紧密,二语教学和二语习得同样密不可分。二语语音教学要解决三个主要问题:第一个是教什么人?第二个是教什么?第三个是怎么教?二语语音教学有三个主要原则:最简优先,精讲多练,语流为本。 Whether studying a language or learning a language,the first step is to study and learn the phonology of the language. Language acquisition includes both native language acquisition and second language acquisition,which have two instincts in common:imitation learning and probability matching,and are governed by the critical period of language acquisition. Their difference lies in wether it has language transfer. Language teaching and language acquisition are closely related,and second language teaching and acquisition are also inextricably linked. There are three major issues to be addressed in second language phonics:firstly,who is being taught ?The second is what to teach ?And the third is how to teach? There are three main principles for teaching second language phonology: minimalist priority,intensive lecture and practice,and teaching phonetics in speech streams.
