The development of sustainable livelihoods of peasant households in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau(QTP),which is a typical ecologically vulnerable and relatively poor territory in China,is of great importance to coordinating the development of eco-environment and social-economic.To provide theoretical support for the realization of sustainable livelihoods of peasant households in the QTP,this study systematically compared the research progress of sustainable livelihoods of peasant households in the QTP based on the sustainable livelihoods analysis framework from the perspective of vulnerability context, livelihood assets, transforming structures and processes, livelihood strategies, and livelihood outcomes. It can be seen that the existing studies have conducted numerous investigations on the current characteristics and interaction relations between partial elements of sustainable livelihood components. However, there are still problems such as incomplete research content and scale and insufficient analysis of transmission mechanisms. In the future, additional efforts are recommended to study the impact of specific factors such as seasonal changes and development-oriented policies,to strengthen multi-temporal and multi-spatial research, and to explore the transmission mechanisms of sustainable livelihood components.
