摘要
从先秦时期至20世纪30年代,人们一直把龙当作灵物。1942年,闻一多先生提出综合图腾说以后,有些学者受其影响,认为龙崇拜是图腾崇拜。本文对图腾崇拜、灵物崇拜进行辨析和比较,进一步论证中国龙崇拜的性质是灵物崇拜,而不是图腾崇拜。
From the pre-Qin period to the 1930s,people regarded the dragon as a spiritual object.Mr.Wen Yiduo put forward the theory of comprehensive totemism in 1942 and some scholars,influenced by this,believed that dragon worship was totem worship.This paper discriminates and compares totem worship and fetish worship,and further proves that dragon worship in China is in nature fetish worship rather than totem worship.
