In the inscription of Shan Shuhuanfu Xu,there is a character"■" interpreted as "樵(zhuo)",from the point view of literary meaning,it develops simultaneously with "稻(dao)","糯(nuo) "and "粮(liang)". The character "樵(zhuo)" might be the origal character of(zhuo)" meaning the early harvested grain in Shuowenjiezi.Scholars do not have the same understanding on how to explain the structure of "■(zhuo)".From the clear pictures,"■(zhuo)" can be seen that it is a word from "食(shi)","米(mi)"and "隹(zhui)".According to the data of ancient Chinese characters, such as Jinwen in the Western Zhou Dynasty,Qin and Han in the Warring States Period,"■(zhuo) can appear as an independent text,it is similar to the pronunciation of"爵(jue)" and "雀(que)",may be the preliminary word of "■((zhuo)".In the inscription "■(zhuo)"of Shan Shuhuanfu Xu,the shape of "■((zhuo)" can play the role of acoustic sign.
