Objective To investigate the effects of structural agronomy on the body mass index(BMI)and lipid metabolism index in antipsychotics(AP)-derived obese patients. Methods Sixty patients with AP-derived obesity admitted to the Third People’s Hospital of Zhongshan City from July 1 st,2017 to June 30 th,2018 were divided into two groups, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received routine treatment for 12 weeks. The conventional treatment combined with structural agronomic treatment was given for 12 weeks in study group. The changes of BMI and lipid metabolism indexes before and after treatment were compared between the two groups, and the lipid metabolism indicators including triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)and low density lipid protein cholesterol(LDL-C),total cholesterol(TC).Results There were no significant differences in BMI,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C or TC levels between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).BMI,TG,LDL-C and TC were compared with those before treatment in the study group, and the differences were significant(P<0.05).The differences of BMI,TG,LDL-C and TC in the study group were significantly different from the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions The application of structural agronomic treatment is beneficial to improve the body mass index and lipid metabolism index of AP-derived obese patients.
