摘要
1921年至1949年间的上海电影期刊在传播电影知识、推广民族电影的同时,还参与了电影明星的制造,形成了以影片为中心和以明星为中心的两种制造模式,并让观众参与其中。以影片为中心的制造模式主要是为影片打通市场并建立起一定的市场信心。以明星为中心的制造模式则把明星与时尚结合起来,成为都市文化的重要组成部分,进一步凸显了明星的社会作用。而观众参与制造电影明星,既是对明星个人的认可,也是对电影文化消费市场的巩固与拓展。作为当时最重要的电影宣传媒介,上海电影期刊在电影明星的制造中有着举足轻重的作用,既提高了自身的销量,也丰富了上海的都市生活与文化。
