摘要
本文以内地、香港和澳门所选用的中学地理教材为研究对象,采用NVivo分析方法,讨论了地理教育与居民空间身份意识之间的关系。研究发现:在尺度维度上,内地和澳门主流教材(人教版)主要立足于国家尺度但不排斥全球与区域尺度的地理叙事,而香港主流教材(雅集版)则弱化了国家尺度,重点放在全球和城市尺度叙事上;在参与维度上,雅集版教材更具参与性,通过"角色赋予"的方式大量采用香港本地素材进行教材设计,而人教版的参与性较差;在唤醒维度上,雅集版更具结构性,强调"我者"和"他者"的话语表述差异,而人教版则更具情感性,常通过历史文化唤醒学生的民族和国家归属感。概言之,内地和澳门地区的主流教材更加强调国家和民族的观念,而香港的主流教材则形成了强烈的地域性以及国家意识与地方意识错位。研究呼应了当下内地、香港和澳门地区复杂多样的空间身份意识,有助于对教育与文化地理深层关系的剖析,同时为维护祖国统一工作成果和践行教育教材改革等工作提供了依据。
Focusing on the junior middle school geography textbooks from China's Mainland,Hong Kong and Macao,this paper uses the method of NVivo analysis in order to examine the relations between geography education and the awareness of people’s space identity.First,for the strategy of scale,this paper finds that the mainstream textbooks in China's Mainland and Macao stands majorly on the scale of"state"but never refuses the global and regional scales for narrating the geography,while the mainstream textbooks in Hong Kong weakens the geography narration on the scale of"state"but pays more attention to the scale of"globalization"as well as"city".Second,for the participatingstrategy,the YJ version seems to be easier to get the student to be involved,and this version is endowed with more local elements.Specifically,the YJ version is largely designed on the basis of the local geography materials;but on the contrary,the PEP version is designed with less participating materials,so that it has less impact upon the forming of place identity.Thirdly,for the awaking strategy,the YJ version is much structural,adopting a binary discourse framework of"otherness"and"us"from which the locality of Hong Kong is built up,while the PEP version is more emotional with an emphasis on the historical and cultural arousing of students’sense of nation and state.In a short word,the mainstream textbooks in China's Mainland and Macao pay more attention to the conceptual construction of nation/state,while the mainstream textbooks in Hong Kong formulate the strong sense of locality.This finding has responded to the current conscience of place identity in China's Mainland,Hong Kong and Macao,contributed to the further discussion of the relations between education and culturalgeography.On the practical level,this study has provided reference for the maintaining of the achievement of the united front as well as the practicing of education and textbook reform.
