在理论与实践的辩证关系的意义上,马克思主义经济学的发展可以被看作是一段切近现代社会存在的思想征途。M.C.霍华德和J.E.金合著的《马克思主义经济学史》就是这样一部以此为对象的研究力作。它阐述了从马克思去世后到东欧剧变时期(1883—1990年)政治经济学的发展历程和知识谱系,让我们看到宏大的历史叙事背后马克思主义经济学的理论起伏和追求真理的努力。从对资本主义社会和社会主义社会演变的理论阐释来看,《马克思主义经济学史》的问题意识是明确的,评价是犀利的,视野也是独特的。但是受立场和时代的限制,它又不可避免地显现出自身的理论偏颇和历史局限。
In the sense of dialectical relationship between theory and practice,the development of Marxist economics can be regarded as an ideological journey that is close to the existence of modern society.The History of Marxist Economics,co-authored by M.C.Howard andJ.E.King,is one such masterpiece.It expounds the development course and genealogy of political economy from the death of Marx to the period of Soviet and Eastern upheaval(1883-1990),allowing us to see the theoretical ups and downs of Marxist economics and the pursuit of truth behind the grand historical narrative.From the theoretical interpretation of the evolution of capitalist society and socialist society,the problem consciousness of The History of Marxist Economics is clear,the evaluation is sharp,and the vision is unique.However,limited by its position and times,it inevitably shows its own theoretical bias and historical limitations.
