Objective To explore the application effect of omeprazole combined with tepreone in elderly patients with chronic superficial gastritis. Methods 92 elderly patients with chronic superficial gastritis admitted to the hospital from July 2020 to March 2022 were selected as the research objects, according to the odd-even number of outpatient visits, the oddnumbered patients were included in the control group(n=46),and the even-numbered patients were included in the study group(n=46).The control group was treated with omeprazole, and the study group was treated with tepreone on the basis of the control group. The total effective rate, clinical symptoms and gastrointestinal hormone levels before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the total effective rate of the study group was higher, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 8 weeks of treatment, compared with the control group, the clinical symptom scores and the levels of somatostatin in the study group were lower, the levels of gastrin and motilin in the study group were higher, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Omeprazole combined with tepreone in the treatment of elderly patients with chronic superficial gastritis can improve the curative effect, promote the improvement of clinical symptoms and the rehabilitation of gastrointestinal function.
