Surface nanocrystallization of Ti6AI4V induced by circulation rolling plastic deformation

摘要 A nanocrystallization surface layer was successfully obtained in a sample of Ti6Al4V. The microstructure features of the sample were characterized by using X-ray diffraction analysis(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) observations. The average grain size in the top surface layer is about 10nm, and gradually increases with the distance from the surface increasing.
