摘要
介绍了TCP以及SACKTCP的基本原理.在带宽不对称网络中,反向带宽的不足限制了反馈信息的返回,导致TCP性能的大大下降.在分析了相关工作的基础上,提出采用SACK过滤改善带宽不对称网络中的TCP性能,并提出了一种改进的SACK机制,它将TCPSACK中表示一个块所需的字节数由8压缩到了4,从而有效地改善了TCP性能.计算机仿真结果证明了这一点.
The basic principle of TCP and SACK TCP are introduced. In the bandwidth asymmetric network, the deficiency of the bandwidth on backward path will limit the return of the feedback information, resulting in the degradation of the TCP performance. On the basis of the related works, SACK filtering is proposed to improve TCP performance. Furthermore, an advanced SACK option is proposed to gain performance enhancement. It utilizes the redundant information in the SACK TCP header and decreases the byte number from 8 to 4 to denote a segment block. Computer simulations show that the new proposals have better performance.
