摘要
F.H.奥尔波特对社会心理学的研究对象、社会促进现象、语言获得机制、"J曲线假设"、流言、态度、偏见等方面都有独到的见解和研究。他创立的社会心理学研究的实验方法及有关实验研究成果,在社会心理学发展史上具有划时代的意义。尽管他过分强调实验法和个体主义,在一定程度上轻视了理论,但我们仍然无法否认他对现代社会心理学的发展所做出的巨大贡献。
