摘要
根据当今有关隐喻研究的最新理论,隐喻不仅是语言内部的一种修辞手段,还是人类认知世界的一种思维方式。本文从认知心理学的角度分析了隐喻的认知功能并比较了英、汉两种文化背景下隐喻的相似性。
According to the latest theory of metaphor reseach, metaphor is not only a rhetoric means, but also a way of thinking to know the world. This paper analyzes, in the light of cognitive psychology, the cognitive functions of metaphor and makes a comparison between metaphors in Chinese and English cultures.
