摘要
通过对大一工科学生英语学习兴趣度、学习态度和情绪稳定性等素质指标的调查并进行量化处理,与理科学习成绩、英语学习成绩综合进行多元统计分析,可以发现在大学英语学习中,英语差生、英语优生这两个对立的群体在学习态度、学习兴趣、学习情绪稳定性和理科成绩方面的差异,以及对英语成绩的影响,从而可以为培养优生与转化差生提供参考依据。
After an investigation into some quality indexes, such as English learning interest, attitude, and stability of sentiments among freshmen in an engineering college, and on the basis of processing the indexes in a quantitative way, the paper makes a multi-statistical analysis of the students' performance in science and English and discusses in college English learning the successful and the unsuccessful students' differences in learning attitude, interest, stability of sentiments and scholastic records in science and their effect on English learning as well. From this, some valuable conclusions have been reached and it is hoped that they are useful as references in cultivating successful students and helping unsuccessful ones.
