摘要
运用光学传输矩阵理论,研究了两端镜像对称缺陷层一维三元光子晶体的光传输特性,并比较了一维三元光子晶体与一维二元光子晶体的禁带特性。数值模拟结果得出:一维三元光子晶体的禁带明显宽于二元光子晶体;且在三元光子晶体两端加相同缺陷层后,禁带展宽的同时出现了多个窄的透射峰。考察了影响透射峰的主要因素,缺陷层的折射率越大,透射峰越尖锐;缺陷层的光学厚度在500 nm到800 nm范围内,缺陷层的光学厚度越大,透射峰越尖锐,且向长波方向移动;光子晶体的周期数越大,透射峰越尖锐,且透射峰的个数增加。这种结构可用来实现多通道窄带滤波器,通过调节各个参数可得到所需要的波长以及通道数目的窄带滤波器。
By using the method of optical transfer matrix,the optical transmission properties of 1D three element photonic crystal with two mirror symmetrical defect layer at the two ports are studied.The difference of band function between 1D three element photonic crystals and 1D two element photonic crystals are compared.The investigation results show that the bandwidth of 1D three element photonic crystal is largely wider than that of 1D two element photonic crystal;The bandwidth is extended and several transmittance peaks appears if two uniform defects are added in the photonic crystals at the two ports.The larger the defect dielectric refractive index is,the edgier the transmittance peaks are;When the defect′s optical thickness is 500 nm to 800 nm,the larger the defect′s optical thickness is,the edgier the transmittance peaks are,and the transmittance peaks move to long wavelength;the larger the period of photonic crystals is,the edgier the transmittance peaks are,and the more the transmittance peaks are.The conclusion may be used to multiple channel narrow band filter.The wavelength and the number of channel can be tuned as desired by adjusting its structural parameters.
