摘要
探讨自主学习活动中,大学英语学生对教师角色的期待及认同。研究结果显示:学生对教师作为动机激发者和维持者、咨询提供者及培训者的角色最为期待。实际教学中,教师在动机激发、咨询培训、课内外监督和情感支持方面的作用最受学生的认同。大多数学生英语自主学习能力的培养需要适宜的自主学习环境来支持,良好的师生情感沟通以及教师的有效指导和监督有助于激发学生的学习主动性。此外重视个体的独特性和差异性有利于促进个体化自主学习的顺利进行。
This empirical study aims to find out learners′ expectation and acceptance of teachers′roles in autonomous English learning.The results indicate that the roles of teachers that students expected most were motivation-inspiring and maintaing,counseling and traing,while the roles that students accepted most in actural teaching were motivating,counseling and training,monitoring and affective support.It is found out that appropriate environment is necessary to develop learner autonomy,especially good communication between teachers and students,effective guidance and monitoring of teachers.Moreover,the emphasis of individual uniqueness and difference will enhance the development of learner autonomy.
