摘要
在我国历史上,每次外来文化的大量输入都掀起了翻译高潮,同时也出现了不懂原语的译家。这些译家多为某项翻译活动的首开先河者,其作用不可替代。他们的翻译实践为中外文化提供了相互交流的平台,为丰富中华民族文化做出了杰出贡献。
In the history of China, whenever there was an inflow of culture from abroad, a peak of translation would emerge, and translators who did not know the source language would join certain translation activities. They were often the first to start a particular translation movement and played an irreplaceable role in it. Their translation promoted cultural exchange and helped to enrich the Chinese national culture.
