摘要
以中国英语专业学习者为对象,调查语言学习策略与学习风格的关系。该研究以Oxford的SILL问卷测量调查学习策略使用情况,并以MBTI和ASSIST风格模型及其量表分别检测学习风格的两个不同方面。逐步线性多元回归分析表明,四个策略组的使用分别表现出MBTI风格模型四个单极维度的特征,多个策略组的组合使用分别体现对ASSIST风格模型三种学习偏好。从而表明学习风格是多方面的,学习策略的使用可以影响学习风格的形成与发展。
This article investigates the relationship between language learning strategies and learning styles on Chinese English-majors.The subjects' strategy use is measured through the inventory called SILL produced by Oxford while the other two different aspects of learning styles are measured through MBTI and ASSIST respectively.The multi-regression analysis reveals that four strategy groups match with the characteristics of four single poles in MBTI model and the combinations of three or four strategy groups correspond to the characteristics of three approaches in ASSIST model.The study tells us that learning styles are multi-dimensioned and strategy use can contribute to the formation and development of learning styles.It is suggested that both foreign language teachers and learners should raise their awareness on strategy use,learning styles and their relationship.The two key elements should be integrated and kept consistently into classroom learning.
