摘要
拉尔方索(Ralfonso)是全球最大的动态艺术组织(KAO)创始人及现任主席,是雕塑美学与新科技结合的杰出探索者之一,被誉为21世纪初叶新动态雕塑领域的代表人物,其雕塑艺术大部分设置于公共空间,利用现代化的科技手段,与风、水、观众、环境全面互动。科技的高度介入及全面进入公共空间构成了“新动态艺术”(Neo Kineticism)的主要特点。本文试图对传统动态雕塑的发展进行概括式的分析,并以拉尔方索的部分作品为例,引入“新动态雕塑”的概念,希望对中国的动态艺术发展有所启迪。
Being the Co-founder and President of KAO - the biggest international kinetic art organization, Ralfonso is one of the most outstanding figures exploring the possibilities using high-technology in sculpture. He is regarded as the representative of Neo- Kinetic Art in the field of sculpture in turn of the Century. Most of his sculptures are designed for and have successfully entered the public spaces, interacting with wind, water, light, environment and visual nature of viewers with advantage of high-tech, which has been taken as the major feature of neo-kinetic sculpture. China is a country extremely lack of the tradition of kinetic sculpture, this paper tries to introduce the concept of neo-kinetic sculpture by giving examples of Ralfonso sculptures so as to bring some inspirations to the development of kinetic art in China.
