The development of IR jamming technology and manufacture and modification of its equipments are described.Then the predominance and importance of developing IR jamming technology in modem war are analyzed. The performance and properties of several IR jamming seekers are emphasized.In the end,the status quo and the tendency of IR jamming technology are discussed.
