摘要
介绍了一种改进的PDE边缘保持图像插值算法。用简单的一阶微分运算大致分离出图像的平坦区域和边缘区域。对于图像的平坦区域,使用双三次样条进行插值;对于图像的边缘区域,使用改进的PDE算法,总体上减少了算法的运算量,并保持了插值图像沿边缘方向的平滑和跨边缘方向的陡峭。实验结果显示,该算法与传统插值算法相比较有一定的优越性。
It presents an improved edge preserving interpolation algorithm based on solving PDE. The proposed method interpolates flat and edge regions respectively, which are divided by a simple first order differential operator in separate channels so that it can not only decrease the computational complexity of the algorithm but also preserve the sharpness across the edges and the smoothness along the edges. In flat regions the bicubic interpolation is applied and the improved interpolation algorithm based on solving PDE is employed in edge regions. In simulations, the proposed method exhibits a better performance than conventional interpolation methods.
