摘要
实现认知省力是习语义产生的根本动因。从人类的认知模式出发,对习语义形成过程的历时研究表明,习语义形成的过程主要有三种:隐喻、转喻和隐喻+转喻。这三种过程都受到认知省力原则的制约:人们通过熟悉的事物来认知陌生的事物,通过认知域中凸显的范畴来代替其他范畴,以此减少认知过程的时间、任务和难度,节省认知成本,达到认知省力的目的。
To achieve cognitive economy is the basic motivation for idiomatic meanings. Based on the theory of cognitive models,this article studies idiomatic meanings diachronically. The results show that relevant expressions get idiomatic meanings mainly through three processes: metaphorical,metonymic and metaphorical + metonymic.
