INTRODUCTIONAcute pancreatitis (AP) is a common severe illness of the digestive tract with variable involvement of other regional tissues and / or remote organ sysems[1-3],Mild disease is associated with minimal organ dysfunction and rapid recovery ,while severe disease is associated with multiple organ system failure and local complications such as necrosis , abscess , fistulas and pseudocyst formation [4-6].
