引伸手法是翻译中广泛使用的一种技巧和方法。本文首先说明了引伸手法对于翻译的必要性 ,然后通过例子从词义。
The technique of meaning-extension is a commonly used technique in English-Chinese translation.The paper first presents a brief discussion about the importance of this technique, then the paperfbcuses on how this technique is used at different levels of English-Chinese translation: lexical level, idiom level, and sentence level.
