^(18)F-FDG PET/CT imaging features of glioblastoma

摘要 目的 18F-脱氧葡萄糖(fluorodexoxy glucose,FDG)PET/CT显像已被广泛地应用于恶性肿瘤的诊断,并且认为可以在术前有效地预测胶质瘤的病理分级。但目前对多形性胶质母细胞瘤(glioblastoma multiforme,GBM)18F-FDG PET/CT表现的认识十分有限。文中研究PET/CT对GBM的诊断价值。方法 9例经病理证实的GBM患者(男7例,女2例)行18F-FDG PET/CT检查,所有9例患者均为初诊。结果 9例患者共10处病灶,其中右侧额叶4例,右侧颞叶3例,左侧顶叶2例,左侧枕叶1例。肿瘤为单发或多发病灶,常位于脑白质内,边界不清晰,大小不等,周围可见明显水肿。18F-FDG PET/CT显像示病灶呈等低密度灶,大多数对18F-FDG摄取明显上升。结论 GBM的18F-FDG PET/CT表现有一定特点,熟悉其影像特点有助于对本病作出正确的诊断。 Objective 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging has been successfully employed in the diagnostic workup of malignant tumors,and considered an effective method for predicting histological grades of glioma preoperatively,but the knowledge on the imaging features of multiform glioblastoma(GBM) is rather limited.The present study is to evaluate the value of 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging in the diagnosis of GBM.Methods Nine patients with histologically proven GBM,7 males and 2 females,underwent18F-FDG PET/CT scanning of the brain at the time of primary diagnosis.Results Ten lesions were detected in the 9 patients,4 tumors in the right frontal lobe,3 in the right temporal lobe,2 in the left parietal lobe,and 1 in the left occipital lobe.The tumors were either single or multiple lesions,mostly in the white matter of the brain,with indistinct borders and obvious edema,and of different sizes.The lesions appeared in iso-or hypo-density,and most of them had high 18F-FDG uptake on 18F-FDG PET/CT.Conclusion GBM has some 18F-FDG PET/CT features,a knowledge of which helps the diagnosis of this disease.
