摘要
根据DanielGile的精力分配模式,短期记忆是口译过程中相当重要的一个组成部分。然而在当今口译教学中,人们把更多的注意力放在了听力和语言训练上,从而忽视了记忆力的专门训练。本文试图通过对三种记忆系统(瞬时、短时和长时记忆)的工作机制的探讨,重点阐述短时记忆对口译的重要作用,并从当前比较通行的记忆力训练方法中选择了一些应用到课堂教学中。
Short-term memory plays a crucial part in Daniel Gile’s Effort Model of interpreting. While in the teaching of interpreting, more attention is paid to students’ listening and language skills rather than their ability to memorize. So this paper tries to elaborate the working mechanisms of the three levels of memory—Sensory Memory, Short-term Memory and Long-term Memory, especially the Short-term Memory and its function in interpreting. Besides, some suggestions on memory training are introdued to the teaching of interpreting.
