摘要
思想自由是培养国民品德道德认识因素的方法,是提高国民品德的首要方法。因为,一个国家的思想、言论和出版越自由,该国的科教文化便越发达,继而该国国民普遍的认识水平便越高,其中的国民普遍的道德认识相应地就越高,国民的品德也就越高尚。
Freedom of thought is a means to increase the moral knowledge and the primary means to uplift a nation's moral character.In a country where freedom of thought and speech and liberty of the press are advanced,the country's science,education and culture will advance,which will raise the general knowledge level of its people including their moral knowledge,which will in its turn generate noble virtues in them.
