摘要
魏晋时期,儒家礼教统治深入到中国社会生活各个方面,而以音乐为代表的艺术生活也被儒家赋予了政治意义和道德意义。为了反抗司马家族利用儒家思想维护其封建统治,嵇康的《声无哀乐论》提出了音乐的自然性,即音乐本无哀乐情感、亦无亡国或兴国之分,是人类对之赋予了情感色彩。嵇康提出还原音乐的本性,对后世艺术和美学的发展和教育有重要意义。
During Wei and Jin dynasties,Confucian ethics were so pervasive in every aspect of social life that music,and art in general,was politicized and moralized.As a revolt against the utilization of Confucianism to fortify the feudal rule by the Ma family,Ji Kang laid heavy emphasis on the natural feature of music in his Music Without Emotions,viz.,music is inherently apathetic,patriotism is outside music,and music becomes emotive only when feelings are invested therein.Ji Kang attempted to restore music to what it is,which was significant to subsequent aesthetics and to the education of art.
