摘要
亲属称谓不但是一种常见的语言现象,而且作为一种普遍的社会现象,早就引起人类学家的关注。它本身就是表示亲属关系的符号语言。亲属关系在世界各民族的发展历史进程中所担任的角色既有共性,又有差异。比较中、英、维三种语言中的亲属称谓词,说明造成它们之间“差异”的主要原因是亲属关系的功能不同。
Being a common linguistic and universal cultural phenomenon,kinship terms have allured anthropologists' interest for a long time.Kinship terms are just nomenclatures of kinship relationship,while there are similarities and differences reflected by the roles they played in the course of the historical development of each ethnic group.Comparing the kinship terms in Chinese,English and Uygur,this paper makes an attempt to illustrate 'the differences' which are more likely due to the functions of kinship rather than 'cultural context'.
