摘要
本文探讨以我国英语学习者为读者对象的英汉双语用法词典应如何有效传递语言文化对比信息的途径。笔者提出, 要解决这一问题, 首先应该考虑的是跨文化交际中词汇空缺的弥补, 以及两种不同语言的搭配习惯与搭配意义的介绍, 其次应该为学习者的联想性学习提供素材, 并为他们提供目的语文化中的语用信息。
This paper attempts to seek ways by which contrastive linguistic and cultural information can be effectively transmitted through bilingual dictionaries of current English usage. The author deems it advisable to resort to the following means: exploring ways to bridge the lexical gap that often places obstacles in cross cultural communication, analyzing the differences and similarities of collocations and collocative meanings between the two languages, providing learners with food for thought while they engage themselves in associative learning, and also providing them with necessary pragmatic information pertaining to the target language and the culture associated with it.
